Greetings Miners!

March was an action packed month, and April will be even busier! The entire MoD team is very excited to deliver our mainnet and begin the journey of growing the Dalarnian world. Let’s take a look back at the highlights for March and look ahead at everything planned for April!

Development Highlights

We are pleased to report that we are on track for mainnet launch in late April, as planned.
Our mainnet contracts were sent out for two separate audits, one is already completed and we anticipate the second audit to be completed shortly
The first audit found our contracts to be secure, with a few suggestions for optimization and improvement. Our development team is now incorporating these improvements
Throughout the course of the month, we added two new game features: bombs, and armor crafting
We published articles this month outlining the four launch planets (with mining plot quantities) and the narrative backstory and lore of Mines of Dalarnia
Throughout the testing process, we have been maintaining a list of update notes on our Discord server in the “testnet-update” channel

Mines of Dalarnia v.2.0 Testnet Gameplay Preview March 2022

Notable Events and News from March:

The month kicked off the launch of our 2.0 testnet. We began with an initial group of 200 testers and have been expanding the number of onboarded testers throughout the month
On March 2nd, we shared our Mainnet Launch Timeline, targeting ‘late April’ as a launch window
Our second land sale, which was exclusive to Mining Ape NFT holders, was held from March 7–21. The event was a success, with over 1538 wallets staking over 4.5M DAR tokens
On March 9th, we shared this progress report on V2.0. Throughout the testing process, we have been maintaining a list of update notes on our Discord server in the “testnet-update” channel
On March 14th, we added a new sticker pack to Telegram — this pack was the 3rd place finisher in our sticker competition
On March 15, we published this video showcasing the Iron armor skin
On March 16, we published this article providing Play-to-earn case studies. The article describes several types of users and how they can utilize the Dalarnian economy to suit their needs and lifestyle
On March 18th, we published this video showing the Silver armor skin
On March 22nd, we published an article outlining the four launch planets with a full breakdown of mining plot numbers
The third land sale opened for deposits on March 22 and will run until April 3. This land sale event is open to everyone
On March 23rd, we announced our sponsorship of and participation in Miami NFT Week
On March 24th, we published this video previewing the upcoming feature of ‘explosive heads’
On March 26th, we published this article explaining the backstory and narrative behind Mines of Dalarnia
On March 31st, we published this video showing March 2022 Alpha Gameplay Preview
