TESTNET STRESS-TEST EVENT: Fixed Gear Astrolab Competition
Good day, Ape Holders!
Get ready for the stress-testing of the Fixed Gear Competition for Mines of Dalarnia that comes with $DAR Rewards! This is an exciting opportunity to test the game’s first ever competition feature’s capabilities and potentially earn some rewards in the process.
Before the competition starts, we would like to provide you with all the essential information you need to know.
Schedule
The stress-testing will begin today, 3rd of May, at 2 PM UTC. Remember that this is just a stress-test which will have different rules and limitations from the mainnet competitions. The stress-test will last for 24 hours. Therefore, everyone should have the chance to be able to contribute and any time you could render for it will be very much appreciated.
Participation
During the entire duration of the stress-test, miners can try as many times as they want to find bugs and issues. However, it’s important to remember that the mainnet competitions will have limited attempts, so use this time to familiarize yourself with the game and identify potential issues.
Reporting Bugs
If you do find any NEW bugs or issues during the stress-test, please submit your report in the Testnet report channel with screenshots or video recordings. Please make sure that the issues are not already known prior to the stress-testing event.
Our moderators will compile them on the TESTNET KNOWN ISSUES SHEET where the status will be updated in a timely manner. This is an excellent opportunity to help improve this game feature and make it even better for everyone to enjoy.
Rewards
The total prize pool for this event is 2000 $DAR and will be distributed according to the following criterias and equivalent rewards:
- Leaderboard Top 1: 300 $DAR
Please be aware that a known scoring bug may impact the accuracy of scores displayed on the leaderboard. However, the final score displayed on the leaderboard will still be considered valid for reward eligibility. Therefore, the first person on the leaderboard at the end of the competition wins the reward.
2. Top 10 bug contributors: 1500 $DAR prize pool
The more bugs you find, the higher rewards you can earn from the 1500 $DAR prize pool.
The total number of bugs reported by the top 10 most active bug finder users will be distributed among them based on their individual contribution percentages.
Sample computation:
Total Bugs: 100
Player 1: 15 bugs
Percentage: 15/100 = 15%
Reward: 1500 x 15% = 225 $DAR
3. Team’s Best pick of unique and relevant issues: 200 $DAR
The team will carefully review and select the most outstanding bug reports and issues, with a focus on identifying unique and relevant problems that require attention.
Finally, the distribution of rewards will be done within 14 business days after the stress-test event. So keep an eye out for updates and announcements, and stay tuned to learn if you’re one of the lucky winners!
