Mines of Dalarnia 1.7 Pillars of Power Patch Notes
This update for Mines of Dalarnia adds Pillars of Power, a new gameplay feature found in standard mines. It also features a new campaign, and many quality of life and UI updates. This update is only available via the latest launcher.

Pillars of Power
- Up to two pillars of power will now spawn in each dig, regardless of depth.
- Activate these pillars to get a powerful buff that lasts for the remainder of the run.
- Find and try each pillar to discover their effects!
Elite Enemies
- New more difficult elite enemies now roam the depths.
- Each standard monster has an elite variant that can spawn.
- Elite variants of Deeper Depth monsters will only spawn in Deeper Depths.
- Use the powers of the pillars to defeat them more easily.
Pillars of Power Campaign
- A new campaign is available to be launched from the Campaigns menu.
- Kill elite monsters and play several custom levels to complete the campaign.
- Completing the Pillars of Power campaign will award players with a new Pillar-themed holo set.
Changes and Improvements
- Improved controller performance throughout the game. Players should now be able to complete all tasks in the UI without needing to switch to mouse.
- Added toggleable holographic ponytail to the player loadout holo screen.
- Extended player rank rewards to 200.
- Improved level generation for more variety in “upper” depths.
- Added alert popup indicating when a booster has run out after a dig.
- Updated DEX trade UI to clarify maximum/minimum amounts.
- Updated navigator with additional filters for searching
- Added overlay to plots to highlight those with digs remaining
- Added planet id to plots in Land Management screen
- Added additional specificity to the multiplier after a dig so resource total rounding is clear
- Added new animations and sound effects throughout the user interface.
- Updated settings menu to include categories for easier browsing.
- Improved loading screens with tips.
- Removed the knockback effect when striking a wall with player attacks.
- Improved tutorial missions from the onboarding campaign.
- Fixed instances where players could still move their character while overlay UI screens were active.
- Improved player movement and hitboxes.
- Additional UI fixes, changes, and polish
Known Issues
- Campaign progress will not update until each dig is completed.
