It’s the Mining Ape NFT “1 Year Apeversary” Event! Airdrops, Rewards, and more!
We are happy to announce a special event to commemorate the upcoming one year anniversary of our Mining Ape NFT Collection!
The Mining Apes came into being on October 25th 2021, when over 3000 NFTs were minted. The first birthday celebration of the collection will kick off with a snapshot taken on October 25th, 2022.
Every address holding an Ape at the time of the snapshot will be eligible for a DAR airdrop. The minimum reward will be 100 DAR per Ape NFT, which will be given for Apes that have been held in the address for a period of 60 days or less. The airdrop amount will increase on a sliding scale up to a maximum of 500 DAR, which will be awarded for Apes which have been held by the same address for the entire year since their creation.
Addresses will be credited for multiple NFTs. For example, a person who buys 10 Apes between today and the snapshot would receive 1000 DAR (10 x 100), while a person who has held their Ape for the entire year and buys three more between now and the snapshot would receive 800 DAR (500 + 3 x 100). Eligible recipients will be able to check for and claim their airdrop rewards shortly after the snapshot through our rewards portal.
But wait, there’s more! Starting in the first half of 2023 we will create new benefits for Mining Ape NFT Holders by introducing “Ape Exclusive Quests” in Mines of Dalarnia. More details will be shared closer to launch, but here some preliminary aspects we would like to share:
- The reward pool for these exclusive quests will be unlocked on a monthly basis and hold DAR, NFTs and Resources with a combined value of over 2.000.000 DAR!
- The holding period of Apes will not influence the amount of rewards an Ape Holder can receive from these quests, meaning that the Apes can be bought, sold, or otherwise transferred without any negative effect to the available benefits.
Ape Holders are a valuable part of our community and are looking forward to seeing you in the mines! We will continue our efforts to reward NFT holders, while also incentivizing those who do not hold an Ape to get their hands on one!
