Craftable Weapons Preview

In the next major update after the Quicksilver Mines, Mines of Dalarnia will get its first major new craftable item category: Weapons!

The process of crafting these items will be slightly different from armor and mining tools: instead of combining weapons to upgrade them, each material tier must be directly upgraded to the next.

Miners cannot craft an Ozy weapon directly — they must craft a Copper weapon, then upgrade it to Iron, then Silver, then Ozy.

Weapons will have a Power Level that will contribute to Miner PL. They will generate with their own suite of perks, just like Mining Tools and Armor. They will also generate with aspects, allowing players to equip a single suit of gear capable of accessing all three aspects.

A special tier of weapons will be craftable beyond Ozy. More details on the systems supporting these powerful aspect-themed weapons will be announced closer to release of the update.
